Muppet collectibles (Lenox)

Lenox has released a number of china Christmas ornaments and collectible figurines of the Muppets.

In 2002, Lenox issued a Kermit the Frog Christmas ornament to commemorate the return of a Kermit the Frog balloon to the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Kermit is shown in front of a silver New York skyline, holding a camera, next to a picture of Miss Piggy in a star.

In 2005, Lenox issued a Cookie Monster Ornament. Cookie Monster is wearing a Santa hat and a scarf, and holds a cookie jar in one hand and a cookie in the other hand.

In 2006 Lenox issued a "Santa Kermit Ornament" to celebrate Kermit's 50th anniversary. He was made from handpainted ivory china with gold accents. He wore a white Santa suit and carried a bag of goodies on his back. A similar "Kiss Me Kermie" ornament, showing Miss Piggy under the mistletoe was also released. They also released two figurines; "Debonair Kermit" and "The Divine Miss Piggy."

Finally in 2006 they released a "personalized" figurine, called "Kermit's Bouquet of Cheer." The gemstones in the flower could be chosen to be any of the twelve gemstones associated with the twelve months of the year.
