In 1995, Pacific Rim Trading Caps made a set of Muppet milk caps, a collectibles fad of the mid-90s also known as Pogs. The game is played by piling up a stack of cardboard milk caps and then hitting the stack with a heavy "slammer" cap to scatter the caps. Caps that land face-up are kept by the striker, and the ones that land face-down are returned to the stack for the next player. The little round cardboard pieces were inexpensive to produce, so the market was flooded with different caps, including licensed characters.
Pacific Rim produced a licensed "Jim Henson's Classic Muppets" set of 30 milk caps, decorated with photos of the Muppet characters, as well as the posters for the first four Muppet movies. Many of these images were previously released in the 1993 Muppet Trading Cards set by Cardz Distribution. The slammers were shiny, with an image of Kermit the Frog's face. The caps were distributed in sets of 5.
