Once again, Sherlock Hemlock finds himself on a tight time deadline in the latest episode of "The Casebook of Sherlock Hemlock." While in front of a London telephone box, he must deliver an urgent message to his mother, who is in Edinburgh, Scotland. With only two minutes to midnight, and Big Ben ticking away, Watson as usual tries to draw the attention of the great detective to the telephone.
Instead, Sherlock first considers mailing a letter, stopping a passing postman. He then considers having the message delivered in person and asks a jogger. Both greet him as "guv'nor" and give him the same answer: not a chance.
Sherlock starts to despair ("It looks like we're done for, Watson"), before he finally notices the phone. He calls his mother just in time to deliver the vital message: happy birthday. Watson barks "Happy Birthday to You" into the phone.
