Nancy is a comic strip created in 1938 by Ernie Bushmiller, whose title character appeared earlier in Fritzi Ritz. Guy and Brad Gilchrist, who helmed The Muppets comic strip in the 1980s, started producing Nancy in 1995. Guy Gilchrist subsequently became the sole writer and illustrator, ending his tenure in 2018.[1]
