Natalie Bird is Big Bird's older cousin and a granddaughter of Granny Bird. She appears in the Food for Thought companion story A Delicious Day.
In the story, Natalie and Granny Bird take Big Bird to the local food pantry. Together they select and prepare foods to make a meal. Natalie shows Big Bird how to measure rice, helps make a delicious meal, and even shares her special dinosaur cup.
