Natalie Dormer NYCC 2015
Natalie Dormer (b. 1982) is a British actress known for playing Margaery Tyrell on Game of Thrones. Dormer voiced Onica on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and was interviewed in the tie-in documentary The Crystal Calls: Making the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
Following the introduction of Kermit the Frog's new girlfriend Denise for the 2015 ABC series The Muppets, the media made comparisons between the pig and Dormer's looks. Dormer responded to a question at the 2015 New York Comic Con about the viral story and shared an anecdote that made her wonder if she was indeed the inspiration for Denise's appearance.
Dormer's other major screen roles include Anne Boleyn on The Tudors, Cressida in the final two The Hunger Games movies, Mrs. Appleyard in the 2018 remake of Picnic at Hanging Rock, and recurring on Elementary as Holmes's nemesis. Other film credits include The Forest, Casanova (with Jeremy Irons), Flawless (with Michael Caine), The Riot Club, and Captain America: The First Avenger.
