"Nearly Missed" is an original Sesame Street song about all the beautiful things in the world we don't see if we just look down at our shoes.
The song was performed by Susan on the 1970 album The Sesame Street Book & Record and Episode 0765. Bob performed the song to Grundgetta in Episode 1788.
In 1974, Barbara Eden sang "Nearly Missed" on ABC's primetime special Out to Lunch.
A modern version of the song was sung by Rosie O'Donnell and Elmo in the 1998 special Elmopalooza. To promote the special, they also sang it on The Rosie O'Donnell Show.
