Oscar at Nellis Air Force Base
Nellis Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base located in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was built in 1941 under the ownership of Air Combat Command.
Caroll Spinney and Oscar the Grouch visited Nellis Air Force Base in June 2011. It was Spinney's first time at the base since he was there as an Airman in 1955. He was followed by crews for the documentary I Am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinney Story.
