Nemo

Nemo is a frog cousin of Kermit's who still lives in the swamp.

When Kermit comes back to visit in Kermit, Save the Swamp! and discovers that the swamp is about to be turned into the Swamp World shopping mall and amusement park, he goes to find Nemo, who he is certain doesn't want the swamp drained. Nemo, however, has bought a brand new pair of roller skates so that he will be ready when they build the new sidewalks.

Although the cover of the book suggests that Nemo begs his cousin Kermit to save the swamp, he does no such thing throughout the course of the story.
