Miss Piggy sang this song after winning the Miss Bogeon County Beauty Pageant (and after noticing Kermit the Frog in the crowd) in The Muppet Movie, fantasizing life with Kermit.

Originally, this song was meant to be sung by Johnny Mathis during the fantasy montage, but after manthis recorded the song, Jim Henson thought it would be funnier if Miss Piggy sang it herself.

Johnny Manthis did eventually sing it in the 1979 special The Muppets Go Hollywood, and Miss Piggy planned on singign it in the Christopher Reeve episode of The Muppet Show.
