Nola Nicola Raphaella Miraldo of Bacciagalupe Avenue appears in The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss episode "Oh, the People You'll Meet." She speaks with an Italian accent.
The Cat in the Hat introduces Julian to Nola, who is around his age and lives in the same neighborhood that he and his family are about to move to. She shows off a pair of caterpillars she's trained to sing opera, as well as the swarm of singing butterflies ("graduates" of her caterpillar collection). She gives Julian a chance to conduct them, until the Cat spoils the moment by waving around some moose-moss, which the butterflies go crazy for.
