"Number of the Day" is a Sesame Street song/segment featured in every episode of season 45 and season 46, and irregularly since.
The Count takes the lead (backed up by Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Grover, Rosita, Ernie, Bert, Big Bird, Cookie Monster and Murray Monster) as he sings and stomps to find the number of the day. The segments end with the Count stomping however many times the day's number is.
The Count, Elmo and Abby perform a Halloween variation of the song in Trick or Treat on Sesame Street, counting up to 13. The Count and his bats perform the song (about the number 2) in Sesame Street: The Musical.
The Count, Elmo, Ernie, and Abby performed an abridged version of the song (about the number 2) as a part of The Best Friends Band "Counting Songs" medley in 2023.
