Oh, Brother! is a 1987 Sesame Street storybook published by Ideal Toys for the "Big Bird StoryMagic" toy.
"Unusual Song" and "Don't Ever Trust a Grouch" are sung on the tape, both by Dave Conner. Caroll Spinney recorded the voices of Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, and Frank Oz the voice of Cookie Monster, for the accompanying cassette tape.
In the story, Oscar the Grouch is unusually cheerful, watering flowers and singing the alphabet song correctly. Big Bird wonders what's up, and eventually finds out that Oscar's brother, Ernest, is coming to town. Oscar can't stand him, and wants to make him feel out of his element. So he fixes his door bell and his television, and sets out lots of sweet treats, courtesy of Cookie Monster. But then, Ernest calls to say that he won't be coming, and Oscar despairs that all of his work is for naught. Just after Cookie Monster gobbles down the last of the treats, and Oscar finishes breaking everything again, Ernest changes his mind, and decides to come again!
