Once Upon a Fairy Tale is a 2001 book published by the Starbright Foundation, a charity headed by Steven Spielberg to help children with chronic illness. The book features retellings of four classic fairy tales by celebrities who also perform the stories on an accompanying CD.
On December 6, 2001,[1] a fundraiser benefitting the Starbright Foundation was held in Beverly Hills, California, at which various celebrities read the stories.[2] In attendance was Kermit the Frog who appeared with Calista Flockhart, Brooke Shields, General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, and Jeff Goldblum.
Others who attended the charity reading include Joshua Jackson, Dylan McDermott, Drew Carey, and Cuba Gooding, Jr.
