Mr. Johnson and Waiter Grover before an accident (as seen in "Elmo's World: Food")
"Oops!" was a proposed Sesame Street doo-wop song for the show's 25th season. The song was co-written by Christopher Cerf and Norman Stiles.
Set in a beans-only restaurant, Grover sings to Mr. Johnson about how he copes with making mistakes. From a nearby table, Elmo, Zoe and Telly would provide back-up. It was also proposed that the segment could be intercut with footage of people making mistakes, borrowing from vintage stock footage to featuring celebrity guests.
The song was initially submitted past the deadline for the writers and was ultimately passed on for recording.
