Othmar the Grouch is an alien Grouch from the seventh moon of the planet Zurkon. Oscar the Grouch meets Othmar when he visits Earth in his trash can space vessel in Episode 1570. Olivia provides a countdown for the pair's launch to the Moon, a location Oscar's pet worm, Slimey, would later visit.

Oscar had previously been sent a holographic message from Lothar, another Grouch from the seventh moon of Zurkon.
