Owe Gustafson (b. 1940) created the animated segments used on Svenska Sesam, mainly with the characters Hansson and Fia Jansson. Some of the segments he created were also shown on Sesame Street.

In Sweden, he is best known for animated segments on the show Fem myror är fler än fyra elefanter (1973), a Swedish preschool series that had been inspired by Sesame Street, which would later feature many of these animated segments.
