Paco is a grumpy green parrot who appeared on the first run of Plaza Sesamo. He was usually seen from his apartment window. Paco was the show's equivalent to Oscar the Grouch, whom he shares many characteristics with, mainly his tastes in food.

There were two designs of the puppet, the first one from 1972 and the second one from 1978.
