Padma Lakshmi (b. 1970) is an actress, author and model, best known for her role as host of Top Chef since 2006. She has also made appearances on 30 Rock and Star Trek: Enterprise.
Lakshmi appeared in a 2014 "Socktober" web video with Grover and Kid President. She later appeared on Sesame Street in Episode 4816, hosting a Top Chef parody entitled "Sesame Chef." She also appeared in the 2021 Sesame Street special See Us Coming Together.
