For today's show about the four seasons, Grover has taken on the role as stage manager.
Bert starts the play in a coat and wheeling in a snowman to sing about winter; Grover pours a bucket of snow over him. Next, Herry Monster celebrates the arrival of spring with flowers; Grover performs some singing birdies on strings. Then, Ernie comes out to honor the summer time, though Grover dumps more snow on Ernie (he couldn't find any summer sunshine). Next, Cookie Monster plays an apple tree to sing about fall. Grover provides some autumn leaves, but falls from the rafters with them. To close the show, the four players come back out and present cards to spell the word "YEAR."
