Prairie Dawn presents a pageant about how a seed becomes a flower. Gladys the Cow plays the seed, insisting that she is the star of the show despite spending most of it "underground." Herry Monster comes out as the sun to shine light on the seed, when Ernie appears as the rain cloud, blocking the sun. The two get into a scuffle over who is more important until they agree to cooperate. Their collaborative efforts work and Gladys emerges from the ground as a fully-bloomed flower.
