A Pail of Water appears in the Sesame Street video Elmo and Abby's Birthday Fun!.
At Little Red Riding Hood's birthday party, everyone gathers around to play the fairy tale party game "Fetch a Pail of Water." The pail magically appears, and everyone tries to catch him. Jack tires of running and sees how well Elmo chases the pail, so he uses his birthday wish to make him speed up to catch the pail.
The puppet was later used in a 2017 beach-themed advertisement for Chrysler, performed here by John Kennedy.
