Pancake the Water Buffalo is Waffle's adopted sister on Animal Jam. She first appeared in the episode "A Water Buffalo Named Pancake" when Waffle gets jealous of all the attention his new sister is receiving. Pancake also appeared in the episode "Dance It Out!"; causing mayhem on the set and inadvertently tearing into the gift Edi prepared for the DJs for DJ Appreciation Day. Pancake's strength is put to good use when the DJs open their gift -- it's a Tunemobile wagon, which Pancake pushes while the DJs ride.
The puppet was later used in an episode of Hannah Montana (also using the name "Pancake") and was puppeteered by Victor Yerrid. The puppet was also recycled in several Henson Alternative projects including the Henson Company's Puppet Up! stage show.
