Paroos

Paroos is an alien priest who appears in the Farscape episode "A Prefect Murder." He has a large head with horns and travels around using a hover chair, not unlike Rygel's.

Mysterious yet persuasive, Paroos was able to unite all of his planet's 200 clans. However, his work is threatened when Prefect Falaak conspires with E'Alet to incite a war between the clans. After prefect-elect Gaashah is murdered by Aeryn Sun (under the influence of E'Alet's sgabba flies), Paroos advocates for Gaashah's son Zerbat to ascend to power, and he helps the Moya crew uncover Falaak's plot. Paroos later kills E'Alet using his chair's built-in saw.

Although he's a priest, Paroos is shown to have lecherous tendencies, particularly evident around Chiana.

Notes

• Paroos' design is based on Father Jack, the alcoholic and foul-mouthed priest from the British sitcom Father Ted.

• Should there have been a fifth season of Farscape, Paroos' hovercraft rig would've been adapted for Rygel's Throne Sled.
