Pasquale Arrelano is Danvers Blickensderfer's best friend in the Tales of a Sixth-Grade Muppet book series. He has been Danvers' faithful assistant and safety officer since the second grade.
Pasquale originally participated in Danvers' stunts freely, but after getting injured, his parents made Danvers sign a contract agreeing not to cause him any more bodily harm. He's highly intelligent and can thus afford to miss several days of school due to his frequent bouts of mystery ailments, which often involve the word "discombobulated" (e.g. discombobulated stomach, discombobulated glands).
When Danvers becomes a Muppet, he begins spending more time with the Muppets than his best friend, and Pasquale feels unhappy that he is ignored. After seeing Pasquale say this on TV, Danvers apologizes and invites him to help Mon Swoon's act at the Fall on Ice Festival.
Pasquale becomes the safety officer not just for Danvers, but for the entire Muppet Theatre. In The Good, the Bad, and the Fuzzy, Pasquale develops a crush on Sofi.
