Pat Collins is a former Emmy Award-winning news anchor and talk show host. In the 1970s, she was a film critic on Good Morning America and hosted the local New York program The Pat Collins Show (which featured Jim Henson and Frank Oz as guests). Collins was an entertainment correspondent on New Jersey's WWOR-TV from 1987 through 2012.
Collins was married to Sesame Street composer Joe Raposo from 1976 until his death in 1989. She was interviewed for the 1990 documentary Sing! Sesame Street Remembers Joe Raposo and His Music, where she talked about how excited her children would get whenever they heard their father singing on the show. Collins was among those involved in the song selection for the tribute albums Jim Henson: A Sesame Street Celebration and Sing: Songs of Joe Raposo, receiving credit as a consulting producer on the latter.[1]
