Pat Crawford Brown (1929-2019) was a character actress who made a career out of playing addled little old ladies. She voiced the Stenographer in the Dinosaurs episode "Charlene's Flat World" and played a hockey scorekeeper in the Creature Shop-effects film Jack Frost.
A familiar television face since the mid 1980s, Brown guest starred on Matlock, ER, Mad About You, Soul Man, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Murder, She Wrote, the 1980s The Twilight Zone, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and had recurring roles on Coach (Mrs. Thorkelson), Gilmore Girls (Mrs. Cassini), and Desperate Housewives (Ida Greenberg).
In film, she was one of Whoopi Goldberg's choir nuns in Sister Act and Sister Act II, and also appeared in Liberace: Behind the Music, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (with Edie McClurg), 18 Again (with George Burns), The Rocketeer, Forces of Nature (with Sandra Bullock), Stuck on You, Daredevil, and Norbit (with Eddie Murphy).
