Paul Jacobs (b. 1950)[1] has written songs for Sesame Street, usually with his wife Sarah Durkee, and served as musical arranger or conductor for several albums. He has lent his voice to many live-action and animated segments, including "It's Hip to Be a Square." He also provided the vocals for Moe Cocker and one of the Beetles on the Sesame Road album.
Jacobs later composed and vocalized on the non-Muppet production Between the Lions. His other credits include work on several National Lampoon albums.
