Paula Poundstone (b. 1959) is a stand-up comedian, voice actress, and television personality. She has served as a regular panelist on the NPR quiz show Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!
In 1994, she made a cameo appearance in the music video "She Drives Me Crazy," from the album Kermit Unpigged.
She made an appearance on Sesame Street in Episode 3082 as the proprietor of a local animal shelter, where Snuffy and his mom visit to adopt a dog.
Poundstone has also appeared with Kermit the Frog on an episode of To Tell the Truth, and the two presented an award together in 1995 for the Environmental Media Awards.
