Peter Lurye is a composer and lyricist who worked on the soundtrack and a variety of songs for Bear in the Big Blue House, and also wrote many songs for the show. He also wrote the theme song for Animal Jam and in addition wrote the theme song for another Playhouse Disney series, Stanley. Peter Lurye also wrote songs for The Book of Pooh, which had numerous other Muppet crew connections.
