Peter Swet (b. 1942) is a writer, journalist and playwright. He worked on Sesame Street for two years from 1979 to 1981, writing various song lyrics and Muppet segments.
A graduate of the University of Dayton, Swet has been writing since 1975, and has worked with Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, written episodes of One Life to Live and Another World, and contributed to Parade magazine.
