Peter Swet (b. 1942) is a writer, journalist and playwright who wrote for Sesame Street for two years from 1979 to 1981. Among his credits for the show include lyrics for the songs "Transylvania Love Call," "Salida," "The Spanish Counting Song," and "Body Rhythms."
A graduate of the University of Dayton, Swet has been writing since 1975, and has worked with Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara, written episodes of One Life to Live and Another World, and contributed to Parade magazine.
