Peter and Paul are two dicky birds who land on the wall of the royal garden in the Mother Goose Stories episode "Dicky Birds". The two birds make friends with the princess and she welcomes the two birds to come and stay in the garden. However, the Royal Gardener, feeling the dicky birds aren't worthy of staying in the garden, tells Peter and Paul to fly away and never come back.
The princess is furious when she discovers that the gardener has banished her new friends. She sends the gardener to locate the birds. Peter and Paul are eventually found and invited back to the royal garden to live with the princess.
Peter and Paul later resurfaced on a photo on the Woodland Valley Gazette in the Bear in the Big Blue House episode "Words, Words, Words".
