Philip Jackson in "The Luck Child"
Philip Jackson (b. 1948) is a British actor who played the cruel king in The StoryTeller episode "The Luck Child".
Jackson is best known for playing Chief Inspector Japp in Poirot, the Granada television adaptation of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot stories. Jackson's costar from that series, Pauline Moran, played his wife in "The Luck Child". Other credits include principal roles in the films Brassed Off and Little Voice and guest appearances on Bramwell and Touch of Frost.
