Phoebe Nicholls (b. 1958) is an English film and television actress who has been married to director Charles Sturridge since 1985. Nicholls played the Empress of Lilliput in Gulliver's Travels, as directed by her husband and co-starring their son Thomas Sturridge.
Nicholls' film credits date back to the 1960s, as a child actress in such films as Dr. Terror's House of Horrors. Later credits included Merrick's mother in The Elephant Man, Cordelia Flyte in the mini-series Brideshead Revisited, and played Anne Durham in the Merchant-Ivory film Maurice. Sturridge would direct her again in FairyTale: A True Story (with Peter O'Toole) and the TV movie Shackleton (with Kenneth Branagh).
