Pickfair was a Hollywood estate, named after its original owners: film stars Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks (taking one syllable of each name). Pickfair became known for its lavish Hollywood parties. When the couple divorced in 1936, Pickford continued to reside with her new husband, and a radio series Parties at Pickfair was broadcast from there. Pickfair was demolished in 1990.
