Planters is a snack food company founded in 1906. They are known for their Mr. Peanut mascot designed by a grade school student in 1916.

- The Mr. Peanut character was parodied in The Muppets Mayhem episode "Virtual Insanity" on a tent in the scene where The Electric Mayhem are attacked by angry celebrity fans. Dubbed "Master P'Nuts" after Mister Peanut, their mascot wears shades and a ball cap in place of Mr. Peanut's monocle and top hat. Part of their slogan reads, "We got your nuts!"
