In the late 1970s, Mexican toy company Lili Ledy released some PVC figures based on Plaza Sésamo, featuring Abelardo, Paco, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch. The figures were packaged in boxes featuring scenery related to the show, and included a few instructions for using them as backgrounds for the toys.
