- Following the July 6, 2016 launch of the Pokémon Go mobile game, Cookie Monster posted a Facebook video for his own version of the game on August 9, 2016. Dubbed "Cookiemon Go", Cookie captures a Tea Biscuit before realizing that the cookies he's caught are only virtual. After he eats his phone, he surmises that it's not as delicious as a cookie, but it has a pretty good crunch.
