"Poor Slobs with Terrible Jobs" is a song on the 1992 Dinosaurs album Big Songs. Earl Sinclair and Roy Hess sing a lament about their tree pusher jobs with WESAYSO, while B.P. Richfield snarls at them in spoken interruptions ("Nobody cares!")
Reflecting on their miserable employment, Roy sings that he could have been an ornithologist "and study the birds we're evicting now!" The backing chorus wonders "What do we do when the work is through and there aren't any trees at all." Earl says "the swamp will hardly be recognizable, maybe we can spare just a few of these."
