The Cartoon Coalition: Shikari Shambu, Elmo, Suppandi, Chamki, and Chacha Chaudhary
Poshan Se Padhai Tak was a two-day, televised event organized by India's Ministry of Women and Child Development in association with News18, held from February 29 to March 1, 2024, at The Imperial hotel in New Delhi. The event was part of India's Poshan Abhiyaan initiative, aimed to improve childrens' nutrition in the country.
During the first day of Poshan Se Padhai Tak, Smriti Irani (Minister of Women and Child Development) and Bill Gates announced the Cartoon Coalition to encourage better eating habits in children. The Coalition consists of Galli Galli Sim Sim’s Elmo and Chamki, in addition to popular Indian characters Chacha Chaudhary, Shikari Shambu, and Suppandi. Elmo briefly appeared on stage with the other Cartoon Coalition characters. (YouTube)
