An announcer introduces an incoming transmission from Space Lab 1, which astronaut Prairie Dawn is piloting through space. Although she thinks she's alone on the mission, she finds Elmo as a stowaway, wanting to aid Prairie in any way he can. He believes he can help by changing into a policeman's uniform, but there are no jobs an officer can do in space.
He then changes into a construction worker's outfit, only for Prairie to tell him the role is unnecessary too. He finally changes into a farmer, unaware that there's no animals to tend to or ground to plant things in. Prairie sighs and tells him to simply enjoy the ride while he's here. Elmo insists they could still use a farmer, pointing to the cow floating by them.
