Princess Gwendolinda is the princess of the kingdom of Tinkerdee in the Tales of the Tinkerdee pilot. A "pure and sweet young thing," if a bit simple-minded, Gwendolinda is the beloved daughter of King Goshposh. Her birthday party is the focus of the Tinkerdee pilot's plot.
Another simple puppet named Princess Gwendolynda was later featured in a skit in The Muppets on Puppets.
Yet another "Princess Gwendolinda" (portrayed by Bert in drag) is wed to a poor, honest farm boy (played by Ernie) in the Sesame Street story of "The Magic Apple."
