Professor Television is a recurring Sesame Street segment debuting in season 28. Starring Bill Irwin as the title character, the skits usually involved the professor demonstrating words and always ending in disaster. As his name implies he works within the realm of the television itself, experiencing his limitations with the screen and sides of the TV frame.
