Project for Awesome is an annual fundraising event created by Hank and John Green in 2007. People submit videos promoting their favorite charities, which are then viewed over the course of a 48-hour livestream.
Big Bird and Sherrie Westin appeared during the kickoff of the 2016 livestream on December 9 to promote the Yellow Feather Fund.[1]
