Puss in Boots is a French fairy tale about a poor man's cat who uses tricks to gain his master power, wealth, and marriage. It has been adapted on multiple occasions, including on Faerie Tale Theatre and an anime franchise. He has featured prominently in the DreamWorks Animation Shrek sequels, as well as his own film and spin-offs.
