The Pye Colour Television Awards were presented by the English electronics company Pye.
In 1977, Kermit the Frog was given a Pye Colour Television Award for "Most Promising Male Newcomer."[1] Kermit and Jim Henson attended the awards ceremony, held on May 23, 1977, at the Dorchester Hotel in London.[2] There, they were photographed with former prime minister Harold Wilson.
