Queen is a British rock band whose original lead singer and pianist was Freddie Mercury (who also wrote many of their hits). Other members included Brian May and Roger Taylor.
The band had many hit albums and singles, helped popularize music videos, sold out stadiums, and influenced other groups. "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" became standard themes used at sports events.
