Queen Regina is the queen of Ka-Larry, a fictional land in The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss.
She is first mentioned in "Who Are You, Sue Snue?," where Jane Kangaroo is holding a special event for her, which Sue Snue apparently ruins when she mixes the ice cream and cake (which later becomes the hit of the celebration). Jane later attempts to hold another party for her in "Halfway Home to Malamaroo."
Regina appears physically in the episode "The Road to Ka-Larry," where Sue Snue acts as an ambassador to deliver a box full of valuable treasures to the queen. Although they are all lost along the way, Regina immediately recognizes the box, which previously belonged to her and where she kept the things that meant the most to her. In this episode, only small portions of her appearance are seen, the image rarely shifting above her mouth.
She made brief appearances in "Max the Hero" and "Horton Has a Hit," where she knights Horton the Elephant.
The character and the land she rules were named after Regina Calarie, a writers' assistant for the show.[1]
