"Quiero Ser" is a Sesame Street song performed by Romeo Santos.

Elmo wishes to play with an Anything Muppet boy (performed by Matt Vogel), but is too shy to ask. Romeo offers him a musical lesson in Spanish - he must talk to him and say "Quiero ser tu amigo" ("I want to be your friend."). Elmo tries it and the boys begin playing catch. Soon, they use the same line to be friends with two other kids (Leslie Carrara-Rudolph and Eric Jacobson).
